From humble beginnings, UMCA Foundation embarked on its official journey, acquiring a small office space and assembling a dedicated team. This formal establishment paved the way for a new chapter, laying the groundwork for the organization’s growth and impact.
With a solid foundation in place, UMCA Foundation was poised to expand its reach, providing vital support to Muslim converts in Uganda and empowering them to thrive in their spiritual journeys.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Ummah Muslim Converts Ability (UMCA) Foundation embarked on an outreach initiative to introduce its mission and objectives to renowned Islamic scholars and key stakeholders.
This strategic effort aimed to raise awareness about UMCA’s existence, foster collaborations, and build a supportive network to advance the organization’s goals. By engaging with influential voices in the Islamic community, UMCA Foundation laid the groundwork for a stronger, more resilient presence in the years to come.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Ummah Muslim Converts Ability (UMCA) Foundation adapted swiftly to the new reality. Our small office was transformed into a vibrant media hub, where we began producing engaging Da’awa programs and conversion campaigns on our digital platforms.
A team of esteemed scholars was oriented and collaborated with us to develop a diverse range of programs, tackling various topics that catered to the spiritual needs of our audience.
